Sections

There are currently three sections in the Geoffrey Chaucer Student Society:

Medieval Literature and Culture - the oldest of the three, the medieval section is the backbone of the Geoffrey Chaucer Student Society. With the help of Doctor Joanna Kazik and Professor Andrzej Wicher, the section provides a framework for discussions on Middle English literature.

Modern Drama Section - created in response to the ever-growing popular demand for insight into contemporary drama, the section investigates developments in 20th century British Drama with the help of Doctor Michał Lachman.

Pinter Room of Literary Theory - a unique incentive of the Geoffrey Chaucer Student Society, the project attempts to blend critical analysis of Harold Pinter's dramatic works with discussions on various critical approaches to literature in general and drama in particular, making it possible for students to extend their knowledge in the field of literary theory. The Pinter Room of Literary Theory organises discussions under the supervision of Ms Paulina Mirowska.
